THREE.

Rod Summers

I research societies that were not subject to the 'civilizing process' of Roman occupation by reading Celtic myth and legend and translations of the Icelandic Sagas. I also have an interest in geology and, as these times demand, practical geography. Much of my art and poetry is consideration upon 'Perceptions of Time and Space', an expression between scientific research and the casual glance.

I was just discovering the special significance the number 3 had in the mythical and spiritual world of pre-roman religion and reality when I received the invitation to exhibit in Sittard's museum and, because of this, I decided that this show should be called "THREE" and all the elements therein should be either related to or divisible by that number.
